Dr. Mark Mouw discovered natural healthcare after sustaining a weightlifting injury during the summer before starting his undergraduate studies. The injury was so severe that it left him unable to participate in the activities he once enjoyed.

On a friend’s recommendation, Dr. Mark sought care from a local chiropractor, hoping to avoid the side effects of medications and the prospect of early surgical intervention. The experience not only restored his health but also inspired a new direction for his future.
Dr. Mark earned a bachelor’s degree in Science with a major in Biology of Health Professions from Northwestern College in Orange City, IA. He then attended Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, where he obtained his Doctor of Chiropractic degree. His commitment to education didn’t stop there—Dr. Mark has completed numerous post-graduate courses and certifications in natural healthcare, wellness, and advanced techniques. He remains dedicated to ongoing learning, staying up-to-date with the latest research and advancements in his field.
Dr. Mark has been invited to speak about health and wellness both locally and nationally, sharing his expertise with audiences in more than seven states. His reach extends internationally as well, hosting workshops for healthcare professionals in locations as distant as Toronto, Canada, and Sydney, Australia.

Lynne Mouw, D.C.
Dr. Lynne Mouw grew up in Newfoundland, Canada, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Memorial University. In 1997, she relocated to Iowa to pursue her chiropractic education at Palmer College of Chiropractic.

Dr. Lynne Mouw earned her Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Palmer College in 2001. Following graduation, she gained experience as an associate chiropractor in clinics across Illinois and South Dakota. In late 2004, she relocated to the Council Bluffs area to establish Mouw Family Chiropractic.
Beyond chiropractic care, Dr. Lynne has a deep passion for travel. She also enjoys reading, staying active, focusing on nutrition, and spending quality time with her daughter, Lila.

Amber Streff, D.C., C.C.S.P.
Dr. Amber Streff was born in Hastings, NE. After high school, she continued her education at Doane College in Crete, NE, where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology.

She later moved to Dallas, Texas, to attend Parker College of Chiropractic, graduating in 2007 with her Doctor of Chiropractic degree. In addition to her doctorate, Dr. Amber is a Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician (C.C.S.P).
Following graduation, Dr. Amber and her husband, Justin, returned to Omaha, Nebraska, where she practiced as an Associate Chiropractor in a local clinic before joining Mouw Family Chiropractic in 2010.
Dr. Amber is passionate about chiropractic care for all ages and believes everyone with a spine can benefit from adjustments. She has a special interest in caring for women, expecting mothers, and children. In April 2010, she and Justin welcomed their first daughter, Landri Grace, followed by their second daughter, Monroe. Both were born at home through all-natural births.
Outside of work, Dr. Amber enjoys running and spending quality time with her family.

Andrew Laflin, D.C.
Dr. Andrew Laflin was born in Lincoln, Nebraska, and has always had a passion for health and helping others reach their full potential. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science from Nebraska Wesleyan University, where he also competed in track and cross country.

His interest in chiropractic began when a chiropractor visited one of his classes. Fascinated by the field, he started shadowing chiropractors in local clinics and even worked as a chiropractic assistant while completing his studies. This experience solidified his decision to pursue chiropractic, leading him to earn his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Parker University in Dallas, Texas, in 2014.
Through a mutual connection, Dr. Andrew began his career as an associate chiropractor at a clinic in Frederick, Maryland. After several years away from family, he and his wife, Katelyn, decided it was time to move back closer to home, joining the team at Mouw Family Chiropractic in 2016.
As a chiropractor, Dr. Andrew is passionate about helping people live their healthiest, most vibrant lives. He is dedicated to providing care that targets the root causes of health issues and supports the body’s natural ability to heal.
In his free time, Dr. Andrew enjoys spending quiet moments in reflection, traveling and going on dates with his wife, making memories with friends and family, serving in high school and men’s ministries, reading, playing sports, and staying active outdoors.

Jordan Mouw, D.C.
Dr. Jordan Mouw was introduced to chiropractic care at an early age, growing up in a family deeply rooted in the profession. As a second-generation chiropractor, he experienced firsthand the benefits of regular chiropractic care.

After completing his undergraduate studies at Morningside College, he continued his education at Palmer College of Chiropractic, where he graduated with high honors.
Dr. Jordan has advanced training and experience in prenatal and pediatric care, athletic performance, and overall wellness. His dedication to family-centered care led him to pursue additional training with the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association, earning his Webster Technique Certification.
Outside the office, Dr. Jordan enjoys spending time with his wife, Jamie, and their two children, Jaxton and Jovie. He is also an avid golfer, basketball player, and devoted sports fan—always cheering on his favorite team, the Iowa Hawkeyes!

Michael Mauch, D.C.
I’m Dr. Michael Mauch, and I was born and raised in New Jersey. During my chiropractic studies, I lived in Georgia before moving to Florida, where I practiced for nearly 20 years. In 2008, I made the move to Nebraska, which I now call home.

Outside of chiropractic, I enjoy hunting, fishing, flying, and spending time listening to and dancing to live local music. Being part of the Mouw Family Chiropractic team is something I truly value, as it’s a practice built around generations of families and a strong sense of community. For me, chiropractic care is about more than just treatment—it’s about enhancing my quality of life. And when my quality of life improves, so does my longevity.

Christy Hough
Christy settled in Iowa after growing up in Nebraska and living in Missouri. She lives with her husband, their two boys, and two dogs.

She likes to think of herself as a Midwestern Girl with Southern sensibilities. In her spare time, she enjoys hiking, kayaking, jogging, and just being with friends and family. She graduated in 2016 with her Associate’s degree in Business Administration. She is currently pursuing her Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics.
In her spare time she loves running, kayaking, camping, and traveling.

Vickie Januelwicz
Vickie grew up in Cairo, NE, a small town just west of Grand Island. After graduating, she attended college and then ventured to the East Coast, where she worked as a live-in nanny. Before returning to Nebraska, she took time to travel and explore new places with friends.

In 2001, Vickie married her husband, Doug, and they now live in Bellevue with their five children. She enjoys yoga, reading, writing, spending quality time with family, and taking trips to St. Louis.
For the past seven years, Vickie has been a valued member of the Mouw Chiropractic team. She and her family receive regular chiropractic care and have experienced firsthand the many benefits it provides. She loves working in the chiropractic field and is excited for what the future holds at Mouw Chiropractic.

Kayne Munson
Kayne is one of four kids, 2 older sisters, and a younger brother. He grew up in Millard and went to high school in Gretna, NE. He is an artist of all mediums but prefers graphite. Kayne enjoys football, art, and tabletop games.
